I cooked Thanksgiving dinner this weekend in Tibro, as previously mentioned. J was a great help in the kitchen! Without further ado, here is the result!
Salad, green beans almondine, candied carrots, mashed potatoes, turkey gravy, lingon bread, turkey, cranberry sauce, and sweet potato casserole.Dessert was a pumpkin pie I made, as well as strawberry flavored jello. The cake is a princess cake, brought by one of J's aunts from a previous party. Everything was tasty!
As it was December 1st, it seemed appropriate to see some snow on the ground, however little.
I love how my mother-in-law decorates her house. Every time we are there there are new decorations out, depending on the season. I loved all of the Christmas stars.
Everything was a success! All the dishes turned out just as I had hoped, and everyone enjoyed the delicious food.

WOW Jess, what a feast! We sure missed you guys over thanksgiving. Any idea at all when you may make a trek back to boring Ohio?
p.s. while you're at it, can you post some pics of your place in Gburg? I liked seeing the view out of your window in your last apartment, it was like knowing what you see everyday.
I'm not sure about when I'll be able to make it back. I'm currently waiting for my residence permit to be renewed (ugh Swedish paper bureaucracy), and that can take up to a few more months. I would like to come back in the early spring if possible!
I'll try and get some pics of my place, but it's honestly not nearly as good regarding views. We're on the ground floor instead of the 4th (and no balcony), so there's not much to see because of it! I'll still try and get some interesting shots though.
